Cypress Black Bayou 4H Fun Day | Cypress Home |
Cypress Nature Study Center hosted this years 4H Fun Day for Grades 4 - 6 and 4H Fun Day for Grades 7-12. Youth participated in various activities on the nature center grounds. Activities included a Fishing Rodeo station where youth learned to use a casting rod, Boater Safety program provided by Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, the 4H Store where youth spent clover bucks they earned during the school year, and an outdoor skills identification station where youth attempted to I.D. furs, feathers, skulls, and scents. After a picnic lunch, youth participated in the song, cheer, and yell competition. Over 450 students participated in the two day event held at the nature center. The nature center hopes to see everyone again during the summer. Have a great vacation!
